Boys and Their Toys

My Show and Tell today is going to be pretty short and sweet. First, let me show you a little table that is in my entryway and how it looks after I decorated it today (Thanksgiving Day) for Christmas.

In reality, these snowmen will probably stay out past Christmas and possibly well into February here in frigid Michigan.

A few days ago, this little table looked like this.

Nicely decorated for fall, with a few accents from Caboose. I never know where I'll find little men in my house.

You might notice the little arm too. Here's what he is doing.

Do you have boys? If you do, do their toys end up in unusual places?

This post is linked to Show and Tell Friday hosted by Cindy at My Romantic Home.

Very festive and just right for a family with kids!!!
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my post....the brussel sprouts were rather good as we BAKED them on the B-B-Que and they were NOT bitter as they have been in the past.

Hi, Kayren,
I love your cute snowmen! I love to decorate with snowmen, too, because as you said you can leave them out throughout the winter. I raised two boys and yes, I would find toys here and there. Now, I find my grandchildren's toys under chairs and other various places. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. Blessings to you! Vicki

My daughter is now 21, but I still remember pretty well how it used to be with her toys.....a nightmare! Boxes in her room empty, and all the stuff scattered around the house.....

LOve the idea of leaving your snowmen out for a while. I am sure you have more then enough snow to last so they won't melt. I also love your white pumpkin.

Snow men are a good thing to decorate with because they can span the winter season and not just Christmas. Sort of like Fall decor isn't just for Halloween or Thanksgiving.
No little boys here most of the time. Smokey's toys show up in unusal places, though.

Oh how wonderful, 'family' decorating.
You start the fun, and the boys add their special touches ... a memory maker for sure.

I like your snowmen and the boys contribultions are wonderful!

Thanks you for sharing and have a GRAND weekend.

No boys, but we have a 2 year old little princess and she seems to think that her Tinkerbell phone really needs a cleaning so we find it in the dishwasher all the time!

Have a great day!

I did have boys (2) & YES the toys do show up in places you would NEVER think of finding them. Now with 5 GRANDS -ALL BOYS... the story continues.

Thank you for stopping by to see my new doll that I shared on Show & Tell Friday at Cindy's My Romantic Home. I have gotten her out of her Thanksgiving outfit & have her up for Christmas in a whole new vingette. You suggested Noel & that was one of the names I was really thinking fit her. The other suggestions I had were Holly & Hope. Joy would be good too. Hmmmmm choices. Check back & see her & find out what her name will be. Have a wonderful weekend.
