Let's just say I'm passing it along.
Sloppy Joes
tweaked from a Taste of Home recipe
3 lbs. lean ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cups ketchup (or catsup, if you prefer)
2 T Worcestershire sauce
2 T packed brown sugar
1 1/2 T mustard
2 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp chili powder
Brown ground beef, drain off excess grease if you need to, and when it's almost done browning add the chopped up onion.
When meat is browned add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for one hour, stirring regularly.
Serve on hamburger or deli buns.
Yum-my!
The guys in the family ate them with chips. The girls in the family had cucumbers with ranch dressing. In his defense, I think Hubby had both.tweaked from a Taste of Home recipe

This should make about 16 Sloppy Joes. When I tweaked the recipe that was my plan, but since we haven't completely eaten it all up, I can't tell you for sure. It does appear we're on target.
