Menu Plan Monday — January 11

Last week's new recipes were a hit. I think the favorite was the Bacon Frittata, which was supposed to be a Bacon and Tomato Frittata, but well, I guess you can figure what I left out.

I didn't make the nachos I had planned or the Steak Burritos. When I went to buy the flank steak for the burritos it was pretty pricey so I decided to hold off on it. I did buy loads of boneless, skinless chicken breasts which were on sale for $1.79. That's the best price I've ever found on them, so I was pretty pleased. I'm freezing some and working some into this week's menu.

MondayNachos. Again, if what I try works, I'll share the recipe. Updated: It worked, so I put in the link for the later post.

TuesdayBuffalo-Style Chicken Nuggets from my new Betty Crocker Quick & Easy Cookbook. This link from the Betty Crocker site is almost identical.

WednesdayFlavor-full Chicken Breasts. I already have all the extras I need for this recipe.

ThursdayTwo-Pepper Chicken with Honey Butter
, also from my new Betty Crocker cookbook. I had trouble finding a link for this one!

Friday — Breakfast for dinner...pancakes with strawberry topping, eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, muffins! Yum!

Saturday — We might have leftovers, we might not. I might have to fly by the seat of my pants! Come to think of it, we might be eating at the church for the Awana Grand Prix, and if that is on Friday, then Friday moves to Saturday and I'm okay either way.

Can you tell I'm not using the calendar/appointment portion of my planner?

Sunday — Eat out since we ate in all week!

Looks extra yummy! We are doing breakfast for dinner this week also. I've also done bacon frittata before and everyone loved! I'll have to remember that for next week.

Look at you being first and all over at MPM:)

Sounds like a yummy week at your house. And I would've left the tomatoes out of the frittata, too:)
